Waynes World in the Pocono's

Well here we are again, The last week in March and looking forward to 2 possible snow storms, That's alright I think we can handle it. I was out this past Monday with a great couple and viewed 8  homes in 2 of our Pocono Communities with indoor Pools, outdoor pools and lakes with Beaches, first was Emerald Lakes this community has the location that most of the commuters are looking for, close to interstate 80 and shopping, the second was Big Bass Lakes, this community has the pools, beaches, lakes, club house like Emerald Lakes and their own private ski hill, and gated security, it is close to interstate 380, saw some great homes but are still in the hunt for that special one that just makes you feel right when you pull up to the place and when you walk in the front door you can see your self  living there. While we were at Emerald Lakes we were lucky to see a now get this a River Otter not a beaver or groundhog or muskrat, it was on the stream behind one of the homes we were viewing sliding on the ice, I have lived here for 27 years and am a avid outdoors man and this is the first time I have seen one other then on the upper Delaware,  just goes to show ya you never know what you are going to see in the Good old Poconos. Well see you later have to get ready for the next storm woho, Wayne

Waynes World in the Pocono's

OK! I was only kidding with you MOTHER Nature, it might be spring everywhere else in the state PA, but oh no not here that happens on April 30th and then summer starts the next day, I am not sure if this is the Robin snow or the onion snow. I was in south Jersey on Sunday in a short sleeve shirt getting a nice dose of sun and it was about 65 out. Today 30+ with 4 to 5 inches of snow. What am I suppose to do sell ski resort housing all year round?  OK enough wining already, things are still looking good for this year as far a Real Estate, Interest rates are still under 5 Percent, Houses are priced to sell and the Agents at Pocono Mountain Lakes are filling their Appointment books with buyers to view homes all over the Pocono Region,  Areas such as Jim Thorpe, Hickory Run State Park Lehigh River Gorge, Francis Walter Dam,  Bradys Lake,  are great places to see no matter what time of year it is. If these places sound like an area that you would like to vacation in or live full time near START YOUR SEARCH HERE.
          Bye for now

Waynes World in the Pocono's

Good day everyone, Ttoday the 18th of March is giving us a taste  of spring here in the Blakeslee area,Canada geese and a few flock s of Snow geese have been seen flying north all week by my place and the little woodcock has made his presence known with his distinct call and flight at dusk each night this week, The only problem with spring time here in the Pocono Lake and Blakeslee area is one day its 60 and the next day it's snowing then summer happens all at once. The skiers are finishing up their season, the fisherman are getting ready for theirs.  Me personally, I am just Glad to see the snow is gone for now but that only means one thing for me, LOTTTTSSSSS of grass to cut but I will take that over shoveling snow any day. If the Pocono Mountains sounds like a place you would like to live or vacation Start Your Search Here!
