Public Lake Fishing in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania



When it comes to Public Lake fishing in the Pocono Mountains there are 2 lakes in the area of Blakeslee Corners, Both are Public Lakes for all License fisherman & fisher-woman to use. Brady's Lake entrance road is about 5 miles east of Blakeslee corners and Francis E Walter Dam entrance road is about 5 miles west of Blakeslee Corners. Both lakes offer boat launch areas and ample parking.

Brady's Lake is 223 Acres, Electric motor or Paddle only, It is a great lake for canoeing, The are all types of Pan Fish, Bass and perch to catch. If you go to the back end of the lake you will come across beaver huts and a marshy area. You can expect to see all types of wildlife, Deer, Bear, Bald Eagles,Ospreys just to name a few. Arrowhead Lakes and Locust Lake Village are two Communities that border up to Brady's Lake.

Francis E Walter Dam and Reservoir is around 80 acres, Electric and Gas Motor (10 Horse power or smaller) are Permitted. There are a variety of fish to catch from Pan fish, Walleye, Perch and Trout. Wild life is abundant, Deer, Beaver and even Bear can be seen at this Lake. There is also a picnic area to enjoy a nice lunch or dinner.
