March in the Pocono Mountains and more

March is a unpredictable time in the Pocono Mountains. We've had everything from snow storms to bright sunny days in the 50s in the past years, So don't put away your snow shovels or ski equipment just yet. The past few days it has been in the single digits with snow almost every day. The slopes are loving it and if the weather holds you might be skiing almost to April this year. Jack frost and Big Boulder are still very busy along with Camel Back reporting great conditions. On 3/9  and  3/17  Jim Thorpe is hosting the Saint Patrick's Day festival which is always a good time, Check it out if you are in the area. The best part about the Pocono's is there is something to do all year long. In just 6 weeks or so Trout season opens in our area, There are plenty of streams and Lakes to choose from, Like the Toby Creek, Lehigh River, Brady's Lake to name a few. May starts our summer season with Boating, River rafting trips, Swimming, Biking . Lets not forget the Spring Gobbler season for the hunting enthusiast and much more. So what ever you are into I think you will find it here in the Pocono Mountains.

Winter in the Pocono Mountains

Winter Time in the Pocono Mountains has a lot to offer. With Skiing, Tubing and Snowmobiling being our main attractions lets not forget about the Warmer side of thing like indoor water parks, Great shopping at the Crossing in Tannersville and some fine Dining. Or just relaxing by a nice warm fire with your favorite beverage and watching the snow fall is your thing then the Pocono's is a great place to do all the above. There are some great Ski houses with the fire place and right on the slopes. How about a Lakefront were you can do a little Ice fishing or Cross country skiing on the the lake. Waynes World in the Pocono's

Good day to all , Well the weatherman says we are getting snow on Saturday,  here we go again. Like I said before we will get through this with no problem, It seems as if the Poconos is were a lot of people are spending this holiday weekend , roads are busy,  Blakeslee Shopping center is crowded and the Restaurant parking lots are full,  I guess if you have a place in the Poconos this is a nice long weekend for some to come up and get away,  I over heard one of the agents in our office saw  large Black bear while out on showings on Thursday over in the Emerald Lakes Area, I personally have not seen one as of yet but my big old rottie Conan (yes that is his name) can sense when they are on the property and I also noticed my neighbors trash was torn apart and scattered  all over gotta keep my eyes and ears open when out at 6 am walking the big guy don't need to bump into momma bear and her cubs. Things are looking up in the Real Estate Market in the Poconos, with Lake Fronts at the top of every one list followed by homes in amenity filled communities and w there seems to be a lot more interest in homes with large acreage  and the demand for Ski resort housing is always strong.
